Yogasite offers all 4 Fundamentals (4 x 25 hours)  of the TeacherTraining 'Restorative Yoga & Meditation'. The training is taught by Veda Ela. After doing this 100-hours TeacherTraining you receive a Yoga Alliance certificate.

Restorative Yoga (RY) is a passive form of yoga en prepares the body for meditation. You learn to listen to your body again by surrendering to the yoga pose and accepting the moment fully. This is a Yin form of Yoga (Yoga of  “being”) and balances the more active (Yang)  forms of Yoga.


A journey of Self-enquiry and Self-discovery

 This training will provide you with new tools to take to your practice, teachings and daily life. The intention of it is to inspire you to live life at a higher vibration, with awareness, acceptance of yourself and others, and care for the planet Earth. It’s also a Life Training that uses the language of yoga and other disciplines to embark in a journey of Self-inquiry and Self-discovery.

Who is this Teacher Training  for?

-Yoga Teachers looking for extensive development in their Restorative Yoga teaching skills and practice.

-People currently participating in a Yoga Teacher TT who would like to acquire specialized Restorative Yoga and Meditation teaching skills.

-Experienced Yoga Students, body workers, health care professionals, therapists and care givers willing to dive deeper into self-understanding and start a radical shift in their personal and professional lives.

This Restorative Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training consists of 100 hours divided into 4 Fundamentals. Each Fundamental requires 21 hours of class participation and 4 hours of homework over the space of a weekend. This includes assignments, readings, class-observation and teaching practice.

This Teacher Training is designed in a way that you can complete it within one year (highly recommended to use the intensity of it for the process of reseting your life).

Veda Ela's Restorative Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training is more than just a skills training. It also is a life trainign, using the language of yoga and other disciplines to go on a journey of self-enquiry and self-discovery.

A vegan soup will be provided during lunch. This is included in the price, as well as complementary tea and water during all training days.  This training is taught in English and is part of the Yoga Alliance Continuing Education certification.

This is a 100-Hour Yoga Alliance certified Training which counts towards continuing education hours with the Yoga Alliance International (YACEP). The participant gets a certificate after the completion of the “Fundamentals 4” module. 

You will also receive a digital Manual for each Fundamental.

  • Introduction to RY: the development and the pillars of RY

  • RY as the practice of “Being”

  • The Benefits of RY and the application in daily life

  • The practice of RY and the 8 limbs in the Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra ​

  • RY floor orientated poses and Yin Yoga Poses - daily practice

  • Own practice and its understanding by the body mind system

  • The use of “props” in RY and its modifications

  • Breathing exercises in a RY practice to support the holding of the poses and cleansing process

  • Pranayama during RY and the benefits for anxiety and stress

  • Mindfulness the meaning of letting go during the RY poses

  • Meditation and Meditation techniques learned and practiced
